  Not a bad chippy. Four staff members looked at me directly one by one from across the counter as I stood and waited... and waited and waited. Not one of them acknowledged me, said hi or even nodded. Stared directly at me without so much as a smile, left me feeling kind of unwelcome - I was the only one there so busyness isn't an excuse. I know it's a small town but common courtesy is kind of important even in little old lampeter.
  
  Food was good, alright prices... but a little staff training wouldn't hurt.
  
  Edit. Second trip was much more pleasurable. Rating up to four stars!

  The fish was really disappointing, chips were ok and decent portions. It's always good to order your fish to be cooked when you enter, but the staff kept their heads down.

  I love coming to Lampeter, the 1st thing I do after I get off the coach is head straight to Llyod's for Cod and Chips. Without a doubt the best fish is the WHOLE of the U.K.
